Senior JAVA Developer

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

• Monitoring/Alerting: Improving back-end monitoring (especially for critical processes), implementing log-based alerting, and performance tracking.
• Tracing: Implementing request tracing (e.g., Google Cloud Trace via Micrometer) and knowledge transfer.
• Infrastructure: Improving load balancer setup, migrating object storage , and migrating RabbitMQ (netcup to GCP).
• Security: Enhancing Spring Security and addressing security issues.
• Testing: Improving E2E testing (Cypress/CypressStudio integration, test data strategy for local/cloud), and integrating Sonarqube.
• Supporting our Lead developer and Product manager in strategic projects.
• Mentoring junior team members.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• You have very good knowledge and experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• You have extensive experience with GCP / AWS or other cloud platforms.
• You have good verbal and written English skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with ReactJS would be an advantage.
• Interest and experience in e-commerce & software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models in the financial sector.
