You will work with an experienced team, with a very diverse structure, containing Java/Go//Python developers working side-by-side with database developers and site reliability engineers.
Get to Know the Role
This role offers exciting challenges, including the opportunity to spearhead groundbreaking architectural advancements for innovative map generation processes, or to apply architectural tweaks that amplify our system's scalability and maintainability. You will be on site and you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager based in Cluj.
QualificationsThe Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will use best practices to deliver high quality code and ensure the quality of the whole project
- You will maintain backend components, services and automated pipelines
- You will maintain technical documentation relevant to the project
- You will work with infrastructure team in building and scaling our components and performing root cause analysis investigations
- You will participate in planning and estimation of effort to implement and maintain features
- You will participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Experience in Java 8 (or above) development (4 years+)
- Experience in developing web servers APIs or with developing ETL pipelines
- Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
- Experience working with big data (Spark) (using platforms like Databricks also)
- Knowledge of a cloud platform (AWS or Azure)
- Good understanding of RDBMS and/or NoSQL systems
- Good understanding of Git (GitLab)
- Open to work with other programming languages (Python, Go)
- Fluency in English
