Grapevine MSP Technology Services seeks a Senior IT Support Engineer - Level 3 to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team of engineers demonstrating superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure, and ensuring the highest availability, performance, and security levels. Qualified engineers will have an IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis background.

They will support Windows Active Directory networks of various sizes, Office 365 Email, cloud solutions, infrastructure, and backup and disaster recovery processes. Additionally, this person will ensure our monitoring tools are reporting accurately and that all internal procedures are followed at each site.

Responsibilities will include the management of VMware, Backups, Storage, Active Directory, Databases, RMM infrastructure, Alerts, Monitoring, and IT tickets. This crucial role will be called upon to resolve the highest technical issues.

A qualified Senior IT Support Engineer - Level 3 will understand and adhere to the company's security policies and procedures; you will be part of the team responsible for architecting and identifying any issues found at a client's site, proposing a solution, implementing it, and training other team members on its usage when completed.

You must demonstrate a solid commitment to customer service and superior communication and organization skills to foster excellent relationships with our team members and employees. Proper and accurate documentation is a must.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, ITIL, CompTIA A+, VMware) preferred

Skills

  • Active Directory
  • DNS
  • DFS
  • Azure Server Creation and Maintenance
  • Group Policy Management
  • Office 365 Email tenant setup and management
  • Firewall Rules and setup
  • VMware - ESXi and Vcenter

Experience

  • 10+ years experience in Enterprise or MSP environments
  • Deep understanding of AD Setup and Migrations
  • Ability to set and maintain Windows Server
  • Ability to spin up virtual environments with VMware and or Hyper-V
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 setup and configuration
  • Experience with Enterprise Backup Solutions
  • Network infrastructure design and implementation
  • Industry-recognized certifications are a plus
  • 5+ years of scripting experience with PowerShell
  • Experience with Firewalls, switches, and APs on enterprise models
  • Experience with server migration and decommission
