Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Subject Matter Expert – Senior to provide expert-level support in the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in IT delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in guiding technical teams, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to strategic technology initiatives.

This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide technical oversight and expert guidance on architecture, design, and implementation of IT solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and proactively recommend strategies to manage and reduce technical debt.

• Serve in key architectural roles (Enterprise, Systems, Solution Architect) within a Scaled Agile environment.

• Recommend and enforce development and DevSecOps best practices through regular reviews.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Guide teams through technical challenges and ensure alignment with sprint goals and deliverables.

• Refine user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and technical feasibility.

• Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the contract team.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with SharePoint, including SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online.

• 5+ years of experience with the Power Platform.

• 2+ years of experience with ActiveDocs.

• ITIL V4 Foundation certification.

• Power Platform Certification.

• At least one Cloud Fundamentals Certification.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in federal or defense environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices.
