Fossil Group is looking for a Sr IT Project Manager to join our IT team!
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for planning, scope management, financial management and execution for IT projects in support of business objectives
- Responsible for identifying project milestones and tracking progress, including outcomes, of the project phases
- Responsible to lead and manage project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
- Responsible for managing project performance using standard project management tools, procedures, and adhering to Fossil standards
- Responsible for managing issues, risks,and appropriate mitigation plans
- Responsible for identifying and clearing project roadblocks in a timely manner
- Responsible for applying critical thinking to manage project dependencies throughout project lifecycle
- Responsible for coordinating/facilitating meetings as needed to support project related activities
- Responsible for providing project status to all levels of the organization
- Responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer of Projects to IT Operations team
- Responsible for maintaining annual PMP certification and staying current with PMP trends

Your Skills
- 7+ years IT Project Management experience
- 1+ year of Retail industry experience
- Experience with Global HR technology preferred
- Experience managing large package implementation initiatives
- Experience working with multiple vendors
- Strong skills in vendor management including reviewing SOWs
- Experience with financial project spend tracking
- Excellent skills in project estimation, scheduling, and status tracking
- Strong skills with issue, risk and change request management
- Excellent and timely communications and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of accountability
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Attention to detail and efficient time management skills required
- Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or other Project Management software
