Scale Tech, a software development agency, is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager for a long-term B2B engagement with our client in the banking sector. Several positions are open in parallel, all based in Vilnius.
The work sits where technology and security meet: enterprise system rollouts, infrastructure and cloud moves, and organisation-wide security initiatives. It is a corporate, plan-driven (waterfall) environment with proper governance. A steadier pace than a startup, and that is by design.
DETAILS
- Long-term, full-time B2B contract
- Client's Vilnius office 3-5 days per week, working on client-provided equipment
- Toolset: Jira, Confluence, MS 365, Teams, SharePoint
- Start: August 2026, earlier also works
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, security specialists, architects and business-side stakeholders
- Report to senior leadership in a clear, structured way and prepare the material they need to make decisions quickly
- Align departments, manage cross-team dependencies and clear obstacles before they become blockers
- Make sure the changes you deliver actually take root in the organisation instead of just going live
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Proven end-to-end delivery of major technology or security-driven change
- Exposure to cyber security, resilience or risk programs is a strong plus; AI-related initiatives count too
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a big organisation
- Structured written and spoken communication in English
- Comfort with ambiguity: you figure out the path forward rather than wait for perfect clarity
- Change management certification (PROSCI, APMG or similar) is a strong advantage
Skills Required
- 7+ years of IT project or program management experience, notably in large corporate environments
- Proven end-to-end delivery of major technology or security-driven change programs
- Exposure to cyber security, resilience, or risk programs (AI-related initiatives also relevant)
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a large organisation
- Structured written and spoken communication in English
- Comfort working with ambiguity and finding a path forward without perfect clarity
- Change management certification (PROSCI, APMG or similar)
- Familiarity with toolset: Jira, Confluence, MS 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
- Ability to work on-site in Vilnius 3-5 days per week and accept a full-time B2B contract
