XO Team India is the Hyderabad team of the Base8 group, which provides technology and business services to companies across the US and Canada, including Cure8, a managed IT provider for the cannabis industry. Our team works directly with US colleagues and clients every day over Teams, phone and our ticketing and CRM tools, so strong written and spoken English matters in every role.
The role
This position leads end-to-end IT procurement for our US and Canada clients, covering software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and outsourcing categories. Success in the first year means establishing repeatable sourcing strategies, reducing total cost of ownership through data-driven negotiations, and building vendor relationships that support client growth and risk management.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute category management strategies for IT spend across software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and outsourcing
- Run cost and scenario analyses, benchmark pricing, and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead negotiations on Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, and RFPs to secure favorable commercial terms
- Manage vendor performance through regular scorecards, review cadences, and corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting in e-procurement and PSA tools
- Identify supply-chain risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation or value-capture plans
- Partner with finance and operations on budgeting, forecasting, and contract compliance
- Ensure all purchasing activity follows global and regional policies and audit requirements
What you'll bring
- 15+ years of experience in end-to-end IT procurement across multiple subcategories
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications procurement
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with e-procurement and supply-chain management systems
- 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, and RFPs
- 5+ years of experience applying category management techniques to build category plans
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and delivering measurable cost savings
Nice to have
- Experience working with MSPs, SaaS companies, or IT-services firms
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin center, Entra ID, and RMM/PSA platforms
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar finance systems for procurement reconciliation
- Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent procurement credentials.Benefits

Working hours
US Pacific shift: 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST, Monday to Friday.
Transport
The company does not provide a cab or transport service for night shifts. Please plan your own commute.
