Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software 
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Analyse department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Continuously analyse current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analysing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service value for company needs
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups 
  • Lead a lean, global team of IT specialists
  • Be the super user of shared tools, platforms and guidelines across the TransferTo group of companies (3)
  • Take charge of IT automation across TransferTo offices
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager to find and manage the correct suppliers across the group
  • Develop & maintain documentation

Professional Experience and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
  • Preferably minimally 8+ years of experience with managing office infra and security global companies such as but not limited to:
    • Manage homogeneous environment 
    • Hardware and software inventory Cost governance 
    • Patch Management
    • Onboarding & Offboarding of user accounts and devices
    • Disaster & Recovery strategy
    • Vendor management 
    • Software licence management
    • IT asset management
    • Identity and access management
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS Operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
  • Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
  • Familiar with SSL & IPSEC VPN ( Fortinet appliance), Active Directory(AD), LDAP, RADIUS, 2FA/MFA, SAML
  • Experienced with cloud-based corporate hosting (Google Workspace, Office 365, Atlassin, ESET, Slack) 
  • Team management / Proven team leadership is highly preferred 
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Professional certifications in infrastructure
