We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst for the European Institutions in Brussels, Belgium.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be willing to relocate to Brussels when not based in Belgium. A work permit is not provided. This position is open for employees and contractors. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Travel is not required for the interviews.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Preparation of business requirements and approval of specifications;

- Management of changes requests;

- Coordination and review of acceptance testing and planning of deliveries;

- Reporting of status of IT module to stakeholders;

- Assistance with preparation of guidelines and training materials;

- Assistance and/or participation in business requirements documents and other relevant documents;

- Interaction with the business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and the developers;

- Participation in working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;

Profile:

- Bachelor or Master's degree;

- +5 years relevant experience in IT business analysis;

- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.);

- Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value;

- Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis;

- Good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes;

- Ability to give business and technical presentations;

- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences;

- Analysis and problem solving skills;

- Capability to write clear and structured business requirements documents;

- Certificate in Agile methodology would be a plus;

- Fluent in English;

Skills Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree
At least 5 years of relevant IT business analysis experience
Knowledge of analysis and modeling techniques, including use case, state, entity relationship, and interaction diagrams
Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or an equivalent methodology
Strong business analysis preparation and writing skills
Knowledge of large-organization administrative business processes
Ability to deliver business and technical presentations
Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
Analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to write clear and structured business requirements documents
Fluency in English
Agile methodology certification
Willingness to relocate to Brussels if not already based in Belgium
