Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Build and implement features for iOS applications, working from design specifications and collaborating with UI/UX designers. 
  • Code Maintenance and Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, identify and fix bugs, and optimize application performance (including memory management and battery usage). 
  • Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers, and contribute to the overall development process. 
  • Testing and Deployment: Write unit tests, participate in integration testing, and deploy applications to the App Store, adhering to Apple's guidelines. 
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep current with the latest iOS SDKs, frameworks (like UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine), and development best practices. 

Requirements
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C is essential. 
  • iOS Frameworks: Solid understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, GCD, and other relevant iOS frameworks. 
  • UI/UX Principles: Experience translating design mockups and wireframes into functional UI components. 
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git and other version control systems. 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. 
  • Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. 
  • Testing: Experience with unit testing and debugging. 
  • Knowledge of the Mobile Ecosystem: Understanding of the mobile app development landscape, including APIs, third-party libraries, and platform-specific best practices.

  • Please note that this is not a remote position and requires to be present at the office at least 3 days a week.
  • Gross salary range for this position is €6000–€6500 per month.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C
  • Solid understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, GCD, and other iOS frameworks
  • Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
  • Experience translating design mockups and wireframes into functional UI components
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
