Senior Investor Services Analyst / Transfer Agency

Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Agency Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Transfer Agency function for assigned private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions and communications.
- Investor Register Management: Set up, maintain, and regularly update the investor register for assigned funds, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Capital Activity Processing: Manage capital calls, distributions, capital commitments, and investor transfers, adhering to fund documentation and internal SLAs.
- Investor Reporting: Draft and distribute investor notices, including drawdown notices, distribution notices, shareholding confirmations, and quarterly reports, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Payment Execution and Receipt: Oversee the execution and reception of payments to and from investors, ensuring timely and correct transactions.
- AML/KYC Compliance: Understanding of AML/KYC requirements and investor onboarding processes.
- Regulatory Liaison: Collaborate with the Compliance Department to escalate any potential transaction concerns and ensure quick and compliant resolution. Report any suspicious activity in accordance with TA guidelines.
- Process Documentation and Updates: Create, maintain, and regularly update Transfer Agency procedures, ensuring that all internal documentation remains current and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Investor Relationship Management: Handle investor queries and maintain strong, professional relationships, ensuring efficient resolution of any issues or concerns.
- Security and Compliance: Uphold the organization's security policies by being vigilant about information security threats and taking responsibility for reducing risks related to theft, fraud, and misuse of facilities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in Transfer Agency or Funds Services, preferably within an international financial service, legal, tax, or trust environment.
- Private Equity Expertise: Strong understanding of private equity fund structures (e.g., LP/GP, capital calls, distributions, equalization) and fund administration processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications, with familiarity in fund administration systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva, Intralinks, Yardi).
- KYC/AML Knowledge: Good understanding of KYC/AML regulations and investor onboarding processes.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous, organized approach to work with an ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Fluency in English: Proficiency in English is required for all aspects of communication and reporting.
