The Role
Conducts independent internal audits by evaluating organizational risks, management controls, policies, procedures, systems, and regulatory compliance. Plans audit scope, determines procedures, analyzes evidence, identifies control weaknesses, prepares findings and formal reports, recommends corrective actions, discusses deficiencies with process owners, and assesses remediation. The role also guides subordinates and supports audits across financial, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, sales, and other operational functions.

- Prepare or assist in preparing issue summary, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.
- Discuss with process owners during and at the conclusion of the examination, deficiencies and corrective action / improvements.
- Assist in preparing formal reports, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.
- Appraise or assist in appraising, the adequacy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions.
- Guide and manage subordinates in performing audits and other assignments.
- Perform any other duties assigned by direct Manager.
Knowledge of Internal Audit practices. Considerable knowledge of the Global Internal Audit Standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
- Total post qualification work experience of 4 years.
- Minimum 3 years post qualification Internal Audit experience.
- Preferred Bilingual.
