Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet customer requirements while applying knowledge of NFPA codes including NEC and standards for oil and gas, and chemical industries
  • Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single line, and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems
  • Size cable tray and conduit
  • Commission and provide post startup support for the engineering designs
  • Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance

Requirements

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will possess a BSEE with 7 or more years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components or systems
  • Understands the fundamentals of process control
  • Must possess the ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs
  • Must be able to conduct research to produce design solutions and improvements
  • Will be able to demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures to junior engineers
  • Will have strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers
  • Must have the ability to travel, sometimes overnight to customer sites
  • Will have ability to support on-call duty

Skills Required
