Business Unit/Department: Engineering
Location: Lawrence, PA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet customer requirements while applying knowledge of NFPA codes including NEC and standards for oil and gas, and chemical industries
- Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single line, and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems
- Size cable tray and conduit
- Commission and provide post startup support for the engineering designs
- Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will possess a BSEE with 7 or more years of relevant experience
- Must be able to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components or systems
- Understands the fundamentals of process control
- Must possess the ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs
- Must be able to conduct research to produce design solutions and improvements
- Will be able to demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures to junior engineers
- Will have strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers
- Must have the ability to travel, sometimes overnight to customer sites
- Will have ability to support on-call duty
