The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, learning assets. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify training needs, create engaging learning experiences, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and can be located in Seattle, WA; or Everett, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, consult and/or maintain learning solutions tied into various aspects of the business (including but not limited to Business Unit, functional or Executive Leadership support)
- Implement learning experiences with measurements showing return on investment
- Design, develop and deploy various learning experiences in multiple formats (including but not limited to web-based training, instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, video training, Degreed pathway development, performance support, microlearning, etc).
- Manage, balance, prioritize and execute on various complex learning experience initiatives and projects
- Engage, collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and global colleagues
- Leverage Microsoft productivity software to manage learning experience project or initiative (including but not limited to performance to plan, RIOs and budget)
- Create and maintain learning enablement resources, including how-to guides, templates, samples and guidelines
- Participate and share in the Learning Experience Design & Development Community of Practice, focusing on the knowledge and skills of ISDs and user-centered learning experience practices
- Support action research, feasibility, and user studies sometimes conducted by the needs of learning partners in other business units
- Lead user-centered design studies and sprints for iterative improvement and steady implementation for the business
- Ability to work flexible working schedules to accommodate a global audience for subject matter buy-off, client report-outs, etc
- Leverage Storyline, Xyleme, Getty Images, Electronic Performance Support tools, Microsoft Office productivity tools and more
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with course and learning asset development
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and industry learning and development tools including but not limited to: Articulate tools and Adobe tools
- 3+ years of experience communicating with and presenting to senior and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience with course and learning asset development
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams and industry learning and development tools including but not limited to: Articulate tools and Adobe tools
- 5+ years of experience communicating with and presenting to senior and executive leadership
- 3+ years of experience formally or informally leading training development programs

Summary pay range: $96,900 - $131,100
