The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Information Security Compliance Specialist to join the team in Arlington, VA; El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Orlando, FL; San Antonio, TX; Seattle, WA; or Berkeley, MO.
The selected candidates will apply advanced expertise in cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), and technical instruction to assess the security posture of classified environments, support enterprise compliance activities, and strengthen the cybersecurity readiness of Boeing personnel and program stakeholders.
The assessor will be responsible for conducting internal evaluations, providing expert guidance on security requirements, and helping shape and sustain the implementation of Information System Security policies, standards, and directives to ensure the inspection readiness of information systems processing classified information.
Position Responsibilities:
- Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
- Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action
- Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
- Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with government regulations/requirements
- Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
- Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs
- Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) (e.g., participates in the review cycle and decision making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's)
- Provides innovation and creativity into Personnel Security (e.g., reduce cycle time) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements
- Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
- Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives
- Oversees Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- 10+ years of experience implementing information security policies and procedures
- 10+ years of experience with SAP Security and/or SAP GRC
- 5+ years of experience in government security programs
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and outlook)
- Experience with oral and written communications skills
- Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination
