The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Arlington, VA.
The security professional will perform as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), leveraging extensive experience with systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, Security Information Management System (SIMS), and other records repositories to directly enable classified program success.
The Industrial Security Specialist will be skilled at delivering initial and recurring briefings on critical program information, classification marking, safeguarding and destruction, Operations Security (OPSEC), physical and communications security while being adept at facilitating and supporting classified meetings, managing personnel and classified-material records to ensure data integrity, conducting inventories and reconciliation for accountability, and developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedures for handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials.

Position Responsibilities:
- Execute internal security controls through compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure adherence to government and company regulations/requirements
- Identify security deficiencies, develop, and implement corrective action plans
- Support and facilitate classified meetings and briefings with senior leaders
- Communicate assessment and investigation results to security management and customers
- Conduct administrative inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations per established procedures to determine non-compliance scope
- Perform Communication Security (COMSEC) duties including inventory, distribution, and destruction in compliance with government regulations
- Protect government, intellectual property, third-party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures
- Develop, implement, and administer operational security programs, security education, procedures, and physical controls for large and/or complex programs
- Lead and perform personnel security team activities to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements
- Establish and implement security awareness training and education programs to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel
- Perform physical security duties within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations
- Participate, as requested, in enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- 5+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs
- Ability to obtain a CI polygraph
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent military experience
- 10+ years of experience in Industrial Security supporting the intelligence community and Department of War
- 5+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense and/or Aerospace environment
- 5+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
- 5+ years of experience in government and/or industrial security programs
- Experience with Microsoft office suite
