We are looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist, sitting in the Analytics & Tracking Services (ATS) team, to assist our clients with the implementation of data collection for analytics and marketing tools. This includes web analytics, media tracking and marketing technology implementations, audits and quality assurance as well as providing technical support and assisting with technical aspects of client relationships.
From an internal perspective, you will share the responsibility for developing team members’ expertise in analytics topics.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Analytics Implementation:
- Implement data collection on websites. This includes contributing to the design of analytics and media tracking specifications, data collection setup (via a variety of Tag Management Systems), audits and quality assessment
- Advise on web analytics strategy and answer clients’ questions about technical issues
- Ensure tracking implementation documentation is comprehensive and clear, meeting 55’s best practices
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders during the implementation phase to guarantee delivery success
Internal Contribution:
- Create new and update existing documentation for internal processes
- Help consultants develop their expertise in analytics and tracking topics
- Help validate estimated ATS resource needs for projects
Required Skills
Mandatory:
- Strong JavaScript ability
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Approx. 2 years experience with Google Tag Manager and dataLayer-based implementations
- Good understanding of GA4 / UA data collection and processing
- Spreadsheet software knowledge (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with media platforms (Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Ads)
- Experience with other TMSs (Tealium, Adobe Launch)
- Experience with Consent Management Platforms (e.g. OneTrust)
- Knowledge of the web analytics ecosystem, in particular from the point of view of privacy
- Understanding of server-side tag management
