Senior IFRS Specialist (m/f/d)

Job Description

Our Group Finance Team focuses on external financial reporting, consolidation, and related-party transactions. Collaborating closely with the VP Finance and Managing Directors, our Group Finance Department ensures comprehensive oversight of all financial matters for both the group and its individual companies.

As a Senior IFRS Specialist (m/f/d), you are the key contact for accounting issues under IFRS and HGB. You work closely together with our Finance Team, contribute to the preparation of financial statements and continuously optimize the financial reporting. In addition, you will act as the main point of contact for our auditors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact for the Finance Department and the Managing Directors on accounting and valuation matters (IFRS & HGB)
• Manage audit processes
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and take on strategic project tasks
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Drive the expansion and optimization of financial reporting

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or a similar field, ideally with a focus on finance
• Several years of experience in group accounting or financial reporting, preferably in a capital market-oriented company, audit or advisory firm
• Profound knowledge of IFRS and HGB
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with a structured, detail-oriented approach
