Boeing Korea is seeking a motivated Senior Human Resource Generalist who will work as our Country HR Lead and will be based in Seoul Korea. This position will lead the deployment and administration of HR programs, policies, and processes across the organization. This role will proactively identify and mitigate organizational risk, influence HR process design and integration, and consult with business leaders on talent, succession, and engagement strategies. The HR Generalist will also manage sensitive employee investigations and ensure consistent application of HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as HR Business Partner to provide expertise on Human resource strategies, policies processes and systems to support business units
  • Understand in country HR priorities and facilitate HR delivery through Country people plans
  • Conducts research and analysis necessary to counsel customer management on a wide range of issues and advises management on the interpretation and application of various human resources processes and policies
  • Partners with regional HR central functions (Staffing, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, etc.) to include local knowledge and requirements into company HR programs, tools, and practices
  • Investigates employee concerns or complaints, works with team to develop resolutions
  • Plans and provides for the daily administration of various human resources processes such as Human Resources Management System
  • Maintains employee personnel files and HR documentation and materials
  • Participates on special projects or teams as needed
  • Supports the Asia Regional HR Director in any other activities as required
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as an HR Generalist or HR lead in a multinational company or supporting global HR processes
  • Deep subject‑matter expertise in HR policies and best practices across the employee lifecycle
  • Strong working knowledge of Korean employment law, employment labor standards, benefits, leave policies, social insurance, and payroll implications etc.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering employee engagement and retention program
  • Proven ability to work independently as an individual contributor—managing multiple priorities end‑to‑end with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Korean
  • Exposure to HR projects such as HRIS implementation, policy rollouts, and organizational change initiatives; experience supporting employee engagement, learning & development coordination, and diversity & inclusion activities.
  • Proven ability to work independently as an individual contributor—managing multiple priorities end‑to‑end with minimal supervision and delivering timely, high‑quality HR outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or equivalent; professional HR certification is a plus
  • Experience handling audits, compliance reporting, or governmental filings
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering HR programs on time and on budget
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to produce executive-ready reports and presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential matters professionally
  • Proactive problem‑solver with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cultures and global teams

This position will be based in Seoul, South Korea
