About the role

The Senior HR Generalist is a key member of the HR team responsible for executing and supporting core HR functions across a multi-country workforce. This role provides hands-on HR support and advisory across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and operational execution. This role is highly versatile and execution-focused, requiring the ability to balance day-to-day HR support with driving process improvements. 


This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with a blend of in-office and remote work. Regular in-office presence is expected to support employee engagement and operations. Flexibility is required to collaborate across teams located in the U.S., India, and Guatemala.

What you'll do

Employee Relations & Manager Support

  • Serve as a primary HR partner for managers and employees
  • Provide guidance on: 
  • Performance management
  • Employee concerns and conflict resolution
  • Policy interpretation
  • Conduct and support employee investigations
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcome

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with: 
  • U.S. regulations (as applicable)
  • Internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS
  • Support audits and documentation requirements
  • Drive standardization of HR processes

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support performance review cycles and documentation
  • Assist managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs)
  • Partner with leadership on retention and engagement initiatives

Recruitment & Workforce Support

  • Partner with hiring managers on job description and hiring needs
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience

Compensation & HR Programs

  • Assist with offer development and compensation alignment
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Help implement HR programs (engagement, training, policy rollouts, onboarding, offboarding)

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain HR metrics such as: 
  • Headcount
  • Turnover
  • Hiring progress
  • Support reporting for leadership and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong experience in: 
    • Employee relations
    • HR operations
    • Multi-state and/or international environments (preferred)
    • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling, ADP, Workday, etc.)
  • General/Advanced Knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
