Thailand-based Senior HR Business Partner providing HR consulting support to local and regional leaders as part of the regional HR Partner team. In addition to delivering HR services locally within Thailand, this role drives continuous improvement across the HR function and contributes to regional program delivery in support of business strategy.
Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement HR programs in Thailand and contribute to programs across the region.
Partner with local and regional leaders and stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives aligned to business strategy.
Coach, educate and guide stakeholders through the annual HR program cycles and provide ongoing support as needed.
Lead execution of corporate and regional HR programs in-country in addition to broader regional program delivery as required.
Ensure excellence in local HR delivery by leveraging partner functions, optimizing vendors and internal resources including systems and tools
Provide expert HR advice, coaching, and support to management teams locally and regionally including proactive communication, education virtually and in-person.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients, HR partners and specialist functions and network broadly within and outside region
Conduct regular reviews of policies, handbooks, and HR processes.
Manage local employee relations matters and ensure compliance with employment practices and procedures.
Conduct investigations as needed either locally or in region, in collaboration with Centres of Excellence.
Generate and communicate insights via analytics and reporting.
Educate and guide stakeholders on HR policies, programs, and practices.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR function, either as a generalist or in a combination of generalist and specialist roles.
Strong knowledge of local Thai employment law and related legislation, including immigration and tax requirements.
Strong coaching, counselling, leadership, problem-solving, influencing, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and develop practical solutions to complex situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and analytics tools (e.g. Workday, Visier)
Advanced verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
Strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, multinational environment.
Project management experience is an advantage.
