Hexcel is looking for a dynamic Senior People Advisor to join our team in Duxford, UK. This is a key role where you’ll partner with leaders, shape HR strategy, and support employees across the UK and Asia Pacific.
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to step into a role with real impact? We're looking for a Senior People Advisor to partner with leaders, influence the employee experience, and support our People Strategy across the UK and APAC.
At Hexcel, you’ll join a collaborative HR team where you’ll shape people practices, coach managers, and lead on complex employee‑relations matters — all while helping us build a positive, inclusive culture.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance).
- Provide expert advice to managers and directors, building capability and confidence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance cycles, and HR initiatives.
- Act as deputy to the HR Manager when needed.
- Partner on workforce planning and change projects.
- Deliver training, guidance, and policy support.
- Produce HR data insights to help inform decisions.
- Collaborate with APAC sites to ensure consistent global HR support
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification (Chartered preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong generalist background with deep employee‑relations expertise
- Ability to coach, influence, and build trusted relationships
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and sound judgment
- Excellent organisation and multi‑tasking skills
- Confident, clear communicator with a proactive mindset
