Your role at Clorox:

As a Senior HR Advisor, you'll partner with leaders to create great employee experiences, strengthen team performance, and bring our people strategy to life through business partnership across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa (ANZA).In this role, you will:
This is a broad, hands-on role spanning advisory, employee relations and payroll, with global exposure and a clear path to more strategic people work.
- Trusted advisor on People matters: Coach people managers on performance, talent and pay reviews while also supporting employees queries, giving practical advice they can act on
- Employment relations: Guide managers through employee relations matters and consultation, giving fair, compliant and commercially sound advice. You'll also work with our global Employment Relations team where needed.
- Payroll ownership: Lead ANZA payroll end-to-end with our outsourced provider and Finance so our people are paid accurately and on time, and find ways to make it faster and simpler.
- 2IC to the HR Manager: Partner closely with the HR Manager to deliver the ANZA people strategy with opportunities to shadow and step up on strategic people work over time.
- Global exposure: Work with Global Compensation, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams, and connect with stakeholders across the Americas, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and Asia.
- Culture and engagement: Improve the employee experience from onboarding through to performance and talent reviews, and run training and team events that build capability and connection.
- Continuous improvement: Support people projects and process improvements, including Workday reporting and new ways of working.
What we look for:
- HR Advisory experience: 4+ years in HR, including time in a senior advisory or HR business partnering role
- Employment relations expertise: Confidence handling ER matters, performance management and consultation from start to finish
- Employment law depth: Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law (New Zealand experience is highly regarded)
- Payroll ownership: Proven experience running payroll end-to-end, either in-house or with an outsourced provider, including statutory obligations
- HRIS capability: Hands-on experience with Workday, SuccessFactors or a similar system
- Influence with leaders: Credibility to coach, challenge and advise leaders at all levels, in person and virtually
- Autonomy and judgement: Able to own outcomes, make sound decisions independently and handle sensitive matters discreetly
- Commercial mindset: Balances people outcomes with business priorities, compliance and internal controls
- Global agility: Comfortable working across time zones and with global specialist teams
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
