Role
Summary
We are
seeking an experienced Senior HCL Commerce Developer to design, develop,
enhance, and support enterprise eCommerce applications built on HCL Commerce
(WebSphere Commerce). The role involves working closely with business
stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable,
secure, and high-performing eCommerce solutions while supporting integrations,
platform modernization, and production support.
Key
Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and maintain HCL Commerce applications and enhancements.
- Customize
HCL Commerce modules including Catalog, Orders, Pricing, Promotions,
Payments, and Search.
- Develop
and support integrations with ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, tax
services, and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Participate
in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production
support following SDLC best practices.
- Troubleshoot
complex production issues and optimize application performance.
- Support
HCL Commerce upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate
with DevOps teams for CI/CD, release management, and deployment
automation.
- Mentor
junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and architectural
standards.
Required
Skills
- 7+
years of software development experience.
- 6+
years of hands-on Java/J2EE development (Spring, Servlets, JSP, JDBC).
- 5+
years of HCL Commerce (WebSphere Commerce) development and support.
- Strong
experience with HCL Commerce architecture, Catalog, Orders, Pricing,
Promotions, Search (SOLR), and Management Center (CMC).
- Experience
with REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, SQL/PLSQL, and Git/JIRA.
- Knowledge
of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and CI/CD is preferred.
- Experience
in HCL Commerce upgrades/migrations and production support.
- Strong
analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.
