The Role

What You Will Own

Performance Creative Strategy

  • Own the ad creative testing roadmap across Meta and emerging channels
  • Develop new concepts, angles, hooks, and messaging frameworks
  • Research top performing ads and trending creatives
  • Turn performance insights into repeatable creative systems

Creator and Content Engine Paid and TikTok Shop

  • Build a high output pipeline of creators for paid social and TikTok Shop
  • Source and develop relationships with creators on TikTok and Instagram
  • Write conversion focused briefs that consistently produce performance content

Production Leadership

  • Translate winning ideas into clear briefs for our production team
  • Guide the development of statics and video ads
  • Increase creative output and testing speed

TikTok Shop Growth

  • Help shape and execute our TikTok Shop content and creator strategy
  • Identify winning products, formats, and partnerships
  • Turn top performing organic content into scalable paid ads

What This Role Is Not

This is not a brand only role or a traditional social media position.

You will not be:

  • Managing a content calendar
  • Posting daily on social
  • Editing videos or designing assets yourself
  • Running media buying

This is also not the right fit for someone who needs:

  • Multiple layers of approval

This is a hands on, performance driven growth role where your work directly impacts revenue.

Qualifications

Core Experience

  • 3-7 plus years in DTC performance marketing, growth, or performance creative strategy
  • A track record of scaling paid social through creative testing
  • Experience working closely with media buyers and using data to inform new creative
  • Proven ability to develop high converting ads including UGC and direct response

You Know How To

  • Turn customer insights into winning angles and hooks
  • Clearly explain why an ad worked and how to iterate on it
  • Brief creators and editors for conversion, not just aesthetics
  • Operate in a fast testing environment with quick turnaround cycles

Strong Bonus If You Have

  • Experience with TikTok Shop or creator led commerce
  • Direct response copywriting experience
  • Worked inside a 10 million to 50 million DTC brand
  • Built a repeatable creative testing system

Compensation

$95,000 to $115,000 plus performance bonus
