Indivisible Project is hiring for a Senior Group Fundraising Associate to join our Movement Support team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Distributed Fundraising, the Senior Group Fundraising Associate will provide day-to-day assistance and guidance to group leaders participating in the distributed fundraising program, supporting Indivisible groups with a user-friendly experience to legally and effectively fundraise and spend funds through our national entity.
This position serves as an important point of contact for program participants. This role is responsible for managing key administrative functions for tracking fundraising and spending within the program, ensuring that groups have clear, accurate information, that compliance requirements are easy to navigate, and that leaders feel supported as they grow their organizing capacity.
This role also collaborates regularly with colleagues across departments. The ideal candidate will balance a service-oriented approach with the ability to communicate expectations clearly, consistently enforce program requirements, and navigate sensitive compliance issues professionally.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and takes genuine satisfaction in keeping systems organized, records accurate, and important details from falling through the cracks.
We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong sense of ownership over their responsibilities. Successful candidates will be comfortable managing an established workload independently, identifying what needs attention, proactively following up on outstanding items, and moving work forward without requiring frequent direction or reminders. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, they will manage sensitive communications, compliance requirements and competing priorities with precision and care as well as examining our current and future processes through a lens that incorporates diversity, equity and inclusion. Success in this role will depend on building strong relationships internally with staff as well as externally with a diverse base of Indivisible groups, while upholding confidentiality and demonstrating a deep commitment to Indivisible's mission and a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset.
This is a full-time role expected to require 40 hours of work per week; the salary for this position is $83,900 a year. Indivisible offers a comprehensive employer-sponsored benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a company-sponsored Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA); FSA with limited matching, and a 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 5% employer match. Employees are fully vested upon becoming eligible.
What you'll do:

- Develop trainings, resources, and toolkits on how to effectively use the distributed fundraising program to fundraise and spend.
- Provide assistance with reviewing other financial support requests by groups while ensuring distributed fundraising compliance checks at all times.
- Other tasks as needed to support future evolutions of the program.
- Assist as needed with team wide efforts for movement support
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience with at least 2 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, program administration, operations or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills, with an emphasis on providing personalized and individual support.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing systems and processes, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

What We Do
Our mission is to resist Trump’s agenda by empowering local activist groups to make their Members of Congress listen. Our work is premised on a simple idea: that Trump’s agenda doesn’t depend on Trump--but rather on whether individual Members of Congress resist. In short, we work to support the creative, local leaders driving the Indivisible Movement. Following the election of Donald Trump, a group of two dozen former congressional staffers and progressive advocates drafted a document called “Indivisible: A Practical Guide for Resisting the Trump Agenda.” What is the Indivisible Guide? It’s a toolkit on citizen power, a set of local, defensive advocacy strategies and tactics for resisting the Trump agenda. Thousands of local groups have now formed in nearly every congressional district in the country to put the guide into action.
