About Plume:

Plume is a passion-fueled, mission-driven company that is trans-founded with a vision to transform healthcare for every trans life. We hope to make gender-affirming hormone therapy easily accessible at the touch of a button in every state of the US.

This work is deeply personal and heart-driven, and we want teammates who care about the mission and the people we serve. For the right candidates, we present a rare opportunity to do well by doing good. Plume offers an affirming, trans-centered, culturally inclusive, and fun work environment filled with purpose.

About the Role:

As Plume’s Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our brand’s visual story across all touchpoints. We are looking for a strategic, systems-minded creator with 4+ years of experience and a standout portfolio demonstrating mastery of multi-channel campaign design, motion graphics, and brand stewardship.

This includes translating marketing briefs into compelling concepts, owning our visual identity system, and optimizing our day-to-day creative workflows. While this role will primarily focus on digital-first design, there will be occasional needs for print and event marketing. You’ll also collaborate across teams to ensure brand consistency and partner closely with our internal marketing team to drive high-performing, mission-aligned campaigns. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced designer to exercise deep creative autonomy and make a profound, hands-on impact on Plume’s evolving brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Take high-level marketing goals and campaign briefs, autonomously conceptualizing and executing high-level visual systems for major product and marketing launches.

  • Own, scale, and document Plume's brand identity system (Figma libraries, templates, and style guides) to ensure a unified and consistent visual language across all platforms.

  • Direct and execute high-impact motion assets, GIFs, and short-form video ads specifically optimized for paid and organic channels.

  • Iterate rapidly on creative assets based on A/B testing and performance data.

  • Leverage prior experience to design and implement efficient creative request, feedback, and delivery processes.

  • Oversee the creative output from freelancers and internal teams, establishing a high visual bar, providing clear feedback, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate effectively with non-designer stakeholders across departments to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns.

Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a DTC brand, high-growth startup, or creative agency environment.

  • Deep proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other standard graphic design tools.

  • Intermediate video editing and motion design skills (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro), with a proven ability to create motion ad assets and GIFs.

  • Experience building or maintaining scalable design systems and creating structured creative request and feedback workflows.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating broad creativity, talent, and experience with multi-channel (digital and print) marketing campaigns.

  • Deep passion for and commitment to Plume’s mission of providing gender-affirming care and supporting the trans and gender non-conforming community.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and receive and incorporate constructive feedback into design work.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • An interest in staying current with design and marketing trends.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Web design experience, or a basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Payload.

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms like ActiveCampaign and HubSpot.

  • Experience with photography, videography, or illustration.

  • Previously worked in a fully remote organization.

  • Connection to, or familiarity with, trans and gender-diverse experiences and overall LGBTQIA+ culture.
