The ideal candidate is an experienced designer with a strong portfolio, exceptional visual storytelling skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into impactful creative solutions. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on design execution across a variety of channels and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and visually impactful creative assets across digital, print, retail, and e-commerce channels.
- Design marketing materials including email campaigns, social media content, advertisements, web graphics, product launch assets, packaging, catalogs, and promotional materials.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, E-commerce, and Creative teams to develop design solutions that support brand awareness, customer engagement, and business objectives.
- Apply and uphold Aventon's brand standards across all customer-facing creative assets to ensure consistency and quality.
- Contribute to the evolution of Aventon's visual identity through thoughtful design execution and creative problem-solving.
- Support the visual presentation of Aventon's website and digital experiences through effective use of typography, color, imagery, and layout.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, copywriters, and external vendors to bring creative concepts to life.
- Prepare production-ready files and oversee design deliverables through final execution across both digital and print mediums.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design, branding, and visual communication.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Present creative concepts and design rationale to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively throughout the creative process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong focus on branding and multi-channel marketing.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand development, marketing campaigns, digital design, and visual storytelling.
- Experience designing for both digital and print production environments.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar collaborative design tools preferred.
- Motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience in the cycling, outdoor recreation, action sports, or consumer lifestyle industry is preferred.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Primarily works in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer.
