On the forefront of Kunai’s recent efforts is building a payments platform that will be instrumental in enabling repeatability, stability and quality for multiple development teams across a partner bank. In this role, you’ll work on a SCRUM team that will own products and services end to end, from intent refinement to development to production support. You will build new features and support tooling and ML efforts for the larger transformation within the card technology organization, involving a migration from a microservices-based architecture in Java to a bespoke data-centric solution in Golang that can scale like never before. This is part of a 2+ year investment in the platform.
Basic Requirements:
- 6+ yrs working in a production environment in any language, with 3+ yrs writing backend services in Golang
- hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Spark, or Big Query
- production-ready experience in a serverless environment, preferably enterprise
- 3+ yrs hands-on with any NoSQL database
- 1+ yr hands-on with DynamoDB.
- experience with CICD pipelines in either AWS, GCP, or Azure
Nice to haves:
- Java or Python
- experience in automated testing, end to end testing, or integration testing
- Terraform or CloudFormation
- AWS certifications
- Lambda and Step Functions
This role is remote but core working hours align to EST. The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000 per annum. A slightly higher range is available to residents of NYC.
