What You'll Do
- This engineer will assist in development and support of integrations between national third-party delivery partners and one of our clients in the healthcare industry
- Work as part of a highly skilled agile pod using leading edge technologies such as Golang, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and Datadog
- Own technical design collaborating closely with client lead engineer
- Own development team delivery quality and user story execution
- Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Estimate and break down user stories or tasks
- Coach and guide junior software engineers
- Assist production support team and trouble shoot more complex issues
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 4-8 years of Golang (Go) experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills, while working independently
- Strong, collaborative team player
- Experience supporting software applications
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Self-starter with an eagerness to learn new things
- Interest in DevOps and technical applications such as AWS, DataDog, Opsgenie, etc.
- Programming knowledge in python is a plus
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
