We are seeking an experienced Global Roaming Coordinator. Primarily, the Global Roaming Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the operational execution of the roll-out plan provided by the Roaming Coverage Manager(s).
Establish contact with Roaming Partners
Negotiate International Roaming Agreements (IRAs)
Drive and coordinate testing and launches according to roaming roll-out plan
Try to solve and if necessary, escalate potential issues that may jeopardize the targets
Ensure all documentation and status is updated and kept in our Roaming Management Tool
Actively collaborate with the other members of the team and strive towards making the rollout of roaming services as effective as possible
Key responsibilities• Establish and maintain communication with roaming partners
• Support negotiation and coordination of International Roaming Agreements (IRAs)
• Drive testing, implementation, and launch of roaming services
• Monitor progress against rollout plans and highlight risks or delays
• Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in relevant systems
• Collaborate closely with internal teams across multiple regions
Experience
• 7+ years of experience in mobile roaming or telecom operations
• Experience in coordination roles within roaming rollout or similar functions

• Collaborative mindset with cross-cultural awareness
Education:
• Masters/bachelor’s degree and must have basic technical understanding on mobile or mobile roaming

Proactive and having a structured approach – ability to break down problem into its parts
Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels and among different countries and culture
Insight into IREG- and/or TADIG is valuable) either from working with mobile operator or vendor (Huawei, Wipro, or other)
Due diligence abilities and time management skills
A persistent attitude that addresses challenges and seeks effective solutions
Commitment to achieving shared goals
Strong knowledge of the roaming roll-out process
Ability to communicate effectively with partners and colleagues using the English language (read, write, talk)
Additional language skills will be regarded as a plus
Experienced in working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) as well as utilizing virtual workspaces (Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)

Skills Required
- 3-4 years of experience in mobile roaming or telecom operations
- Experience in coordination roles within roaming rollout or similar functions

- Collaborative mindset with cross-cultural awareness
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, economics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Good understanding of mobile roaming processes and rollout lifecycle
- Familiarity with IREG and/or TADIG processes
- Experience working with international telecom partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint)
- Basic technical understanding of mobile networks and roaming services
