This is a high-impact global leadership opportunity for a senior procurement professional who excels at translating business priorities into procurement value. As Senior Global Category Manager – Corporate Services, you will shape and lead global category strategies across critical Corporate Services portfolios, influencing enterprise cost competitiveness, supplier performance, user experience, compliance, and long-term business value.

The role requires an experienced category leader who can challenge conventional thinking, influence senior stakeholders, shape supplier markets, and convert procurement expertise into measurable business outcomes.

The role will report to the Global Strategic Procurement Director.

In this role, you will:

  • Challenge, influence, and co-create value with senior business, functional, and executive stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, Communications, Facilities, Travel, and other Corporate Services functions to optimize spend, improve service outcomes, and deliver enterprise value.

  • Own global category strategies aligned to enterprise priorities.

  • Lead cross-functional category teams to deliver measurable business impact.

  • Provide market insight and strategic direction as the category expert.

  • Lead complex negotiations and critical supplier agreements with senior stakeholders.

We are looking for a commercially astute strategic thinker with executive presence, strong negotiation capability, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions. Success in this role requires strategic vision, operational discipline, and a sharp focus on value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve multi-year global category strategies aligned to Business/Function priorities, delivering measurable value through cost transformation, spend management/control, guided buying, supply assurance, and innovation.

  • Bring world-class market intelligence to the organization, translating benchmarking, cost insights, and market trends, into competitive advantage through actionable category strategies.

  • Identify and unlock value creation opportunities through alternative suppliers, innovation, technology-enabled solutions, and optimized sourcing models.

  • Serve as the recognized subject matter expert for assigned categories, advising senior leadership through clear market briefings, strategic recommendations, and forward-looking risk and opportunity assessments.

  • Lead global category teams through influence in a highly matrixed environment, aligning regional and functional stakeholders behind a common strategy and driving disciplined execution worldwide.

  • Act as the lead commercial negotiator for major strategic supplier agreements, shaping outcomes on complex contracts, and ensuring strong contract execution, compliance, and governance across regions.

  • Lead global supplier relationship management programs that elevate performance, accelerate innovation, optimize total value, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

  • Champion simplification (process automation), digital enablement, and scalable buying strategies. Drive continuous improvement through data-led decision-making and clear KPIs.

What You Bring

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 15+ years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 5 years leading category management within Corporate Services.

  • Proven success managing complex, high-value global Corporate Services categories in multinational environments.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering significant procurement value through cost reduction, cost avoidance, demand management, supplier innovation, service optimization, digital transformation, and process simplification initiatives.

  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and data-driven decision-making capability, with the ability to translate insight into business value.

  • High levels of integrity, resilience, and composure under pressure, with a collaborative leadership style.

  • Proven ability to advise, influence, and challenge Director, VP, and executive-level stakeholders through market intelligence, commercial insight, benchmarking data, and fact-based recommendations.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in complex multinational environments such as manufacturing, chemicals, industrials, automotive, or electronics.

  • Experience with digital procurement tools, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities.

  • CIPS, ISM, or equivalent professional procurement certification.
