Kokku is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team! As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for being the framework for the team, from a technical point of view, to provide the time with an extra “headstart” advantage.
As a Principal Software Engineer you will:
- Work on Pre-production regarding technical issues;
- Answer technical client questions;
- Break down large problems into smaller issues;
- Outline risk plans, technical strategies, and create guides for the team to execute projects;
- Conduct technical supervision of the project;
- Prepare documentation;
- Develop code;
- Analyze project data (technical analysis) and address questions;
- Mentor team engineers and contribute to the team’s technical development;
- Support the team and ensure engineers have all the information and tools they need;
- Work on post production (Cross-reference estimated data vs. actual effort);
- Document lessons learned and share knowledge.
- Domain Stacks: C++, C#, Unreal, and Unity (at least)
- Native C++ development,
- Graphics computing,
- Multiplayer networking,
- Python, JavaScript, Lua, scripting languages
- Optimization, Development for consoles (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft), PC, Mobile
- APIs: Vulkan, Metal, OpenGL, DirectX
- Master at least 2 programming languages
- Strong knowledge of program optimization;
- Deep understanding of computing—knowing how it works—concepts of how a processor functions, how it interacts with memory and cache, CPU, GPU (low-level operational knowledge).
