Senior Game Developer

I. KEY JOB DUTIES

• Plan and develop mobile game projects on the Unity platform.
• Provide feedback and implement new features based on game design plans.
• Meet with the design team to discuss game ideas and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, especially Game Artists.
• Establish an effective strategy and development pipeline.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of games and applications.
• Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, application bugs, and code errors.
• Offer and implement technical solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct white-box testing.
• Ensure products conform to high industry standards.
• Design and build game patches and upgrades.
  

II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ABILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Unity Developer.
• Experience with mobile game development.
• Experience with full-stack game development.
• Strong understanding of the Scrum Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial).
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to support coding.                                                                                          

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in C# and the Unity engine.
• Proficiency in scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.
• Skill in optimizing memory and space usage.
• Skill in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Ability to utilize AI tools effectively to improve productivity and development workflows.
• Good English reading and writing skills for collaboration in an international environment.
