Job DescriptionARHS Group – part of Accenture- is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Banking domain.
The functional analyst will assist the IT Business Partnering and applications department in analysis and project management of applications within the supporting services (Facilities, HR, Finance, etc.).
Role & responsibilities
- Working in close collaboration with our application managers
- Acting as back-up and coordinating some specific smaller projects
- Performing business and functional analyses in light of a digitalisation project, in which on-premise data warehouses (DWH) will be migrated towards a new cloud-based data platform (Databricks, PowerBI)
- Replacing old Access and .NET applications related to these DHW notably by Power Platform technologies (Power Automate, Power Automate, etc.).
- Assisting in documenting the current ecosystems
- Collaborating with the architect to identify the most suitable future solutions and coordinating their implementation.
Your profile
- Proficient in French or Dutch and basic knowledge of the other.
- Good knowledge of English
- Good analysis skills (quality in structure & synthesis)
- Good communication skills (presenting, advising, influencing)
- Proactivity, flexibility, autonomy & excellent workload estimation skills
- Good team player – Coaching, training and Scrum
- Able to thrive in a hybrid work environment: 50% Teleworking
Technical skills
- Strong grasp of project scope, status, methodologies, personal responsibilities, and planning.
- Good knowledge of requirements gathering (self study, interview techniques, brainstorm techniques, …)
- Knowledge of Modeling Languages and notations (BPMN and UML)
- Knowledge of Conceptual/Logical Datamodel, ERD, DWH and Big data
- Knowledge of non-functional requirements (security & performance)
- Knowledge of Databricks and PowerBI
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, etc.)
- Knowledge of Testing (methodology, analysis, reporting)
- Knowledge of Data exchange formats (XML, JSON…), SQL and programming languages
