In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and development of frontend applications with React.js or Next.js and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend APIs for event management and QR code features using Node.js with REST or GraphQL.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, including clean architecture, GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code review best practices.
- Guarantee high test coverage with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (Playwright), aligned with subdomain testing priorities.
- Support observability and operational excellence with proper logging, monitoring, and rollback procedures, leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure where applicable.
- Guide and mentor mid-level engineers, encouraging best practices and professional growth.
- Collaborate with product and design teams, translating business goals into reliable technical solutions.
- Experiment with AI developer tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) with a team-wide preference for Cursor.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development with proven experience in technical leadership.
- Strong skills in React.js or Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend practices.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js and GraphQL/REST APIs, with working exposure to AWS (Lambda, S3, or similar services).
- Familiarity with clean architecture and API contract standards (OpenAPI).
- Strong background in automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
- Experience with GitHub-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps logging & monitoring practices.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
- Fluency in English for code, documentation, and communication. Nice-to-Have
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or complex client applications.
- Knowledge of multi-QR event tracking systems.
- Exposure to observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
