THE KEY BITS
-Location: We can currently only accept applications from candidates that are located and have long-term working rights in the UK.
-Flexibility: We have office hubs in Boston (US) and London (UK) as well as no-office hubs in several European countries. We operate a choice-first work approach that lets you work fully remotely from Day One even if you’re near an office hub.
-Salary: We benchmarked ca. £90-100,000 + equity at IC4 level in our progression framework for someone based in the UK.
-Interviews: 4 stages totalling around 3.5 hours over 2-3 weeks.
-Start date: As soon as you can start.
-Reporting to: Andrew Wray, Engineering Team Lead for the Platform team

What you’ll be building
-Fresh, intuitive ways for users to explore and organise contracts in our React + TypeScript dashboard.
-Smart organisation and insight features that surface what matters, not just files.
-Reusable React components that feel great to use and easy for the team to maintain.
-Robust Node.js APIs and services that stay fast when customers upload thousands of agreements.
-Continuous refactoring and performance tuning—quality and sustainability are part of “done.”

On top of that, you have been part of a journey where:
-You were involved in the development of the core product features using TypeScript, Javascript, React and Node.
-You have a good understanding of and experience with native DOM API’s (e.g. drag & drop, element positioning, scrolling, etc).
-You have used any state management tools such as Redux, Flux, ReCoil, MobX (etc).
-You wrote unit and end-to-end tests using tools such as Mocha, Jest or similar.
-Bonus points if you’ve worked with Material UI and Webpack.
This job likely isn’t for you if:
-You need detailed, step-by-step instructions to work at your best rather than picking things up fast and figuring out the edges yourself.
-Regular pull request discussions and team-wide democratic code debates feel exhausting instead of energising.
-Ambiguity, shifting priorities, and the “try–learn–iterate” cadence of AI-driven product work make you uncomfortable.
