We are incepting a new product team at SAP LeanIX to provide Architecture Guidance to our customers. Using modern state-of-the-art AI-powered data analytics, the team will aggregate and utilize the data from our catalog and from workspaces across our customer base to derive insights that unlock actionable advice to guide architecture transformation.

We are looking for a motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer to join us on our journey to grow and achieve our goals. You are the perfect candidate if you are passionate about delivering customer value, technical excellence, and working collaboratively as part of a diverse team. The position is mainly focused on frontend related topics with smaller parts on backend contribution initially.

  • Contribute Across the Stack: Develop dynamic, scalable interfaces using Angular, RxJS, and modern frontend tools, while contributing to backend services with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot,  REST and GraphQL.

Who Are We Looking For?

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience, delivering scalable, maintainable, and reliable applications.
  • Proficiency with Angular (or similar frameworks with a willingness to learn Angular during onboarding).
  • Comprehensive proficiency in HTML and SCSS, ensuring adherence to best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with Java or Kotlin, ideally but not necessarily using Spring Boot, building scalable, secure microservices.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, designing data flow solutions at scale.
  • Mastery of testing tools like Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress, promoting a test-driven development culture.
  • Strive in agile environments, driving high-impact projects to completion while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable code.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration, working seamlessly across teams and ensuring clear communication to achieve business and technical goals.
  • Mentors and guides junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and excellence, while promoting team development and growth.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Advanced knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation and architecture.
  • Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes, driving containerized infrastructure adoption and scaling strategies.
  • Proven experience in using cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, architecting and managing cloud solutions.
  • Advanced usage of state management tools (e.g., NgRx) for handling intricate application state.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with experience automating workflows at scale.
  • Curiosity to work in a Team which applies state of the art GenAI technologies. While it is not a requirement that you need to be familiar building GenAI powered applications, joining our team would still allow you to learn how it looks like to do so.
