We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Business Optimization Team, playing a key role in scaling Veo’s internal tools and system integrations that drive efficiency across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support.
The Business Optimization Team is the backbone of Veo’s operations, building and refining the internal tools that speed up our sales and support processes, remove bottlenecks, and enable the company to scale faster and smarter. From streamlining workflows to designing features that empower our teams, your work will have a direct and visible impact on how quickly and effectively Veo can serve both internal and external customers.
You’ll tackle complex problems, collaborate across disciplines, and build solutions that make everyone’s workday smoother - all while working alongside passionate teammates who share your drive for excellence.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end full-stack solutions for internal systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Build efficient, maintainable, and intuitive frontend applications using React and TypeScript, with attention to accessibility and responsive design.
- Develop backend services and microservices using Node.js and Python, following clean architecture principles.
- Architect and review system designs, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- Champion code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, data teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
- Automate and streamline operational workflows to boost productivity and reduce manual processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of working experience and full-stack expertise with React, TypeScript, and backend development in Node.js and/or Python.
- Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Proven track record of API development, system integrations, and high-performance backend architectures.
- Solid grasp of testing strategies and monitoring/observability tools.
- Ability to make architectural decisions and drive technical direction for projects.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Collaboration and communication skills - you enjoy working closely with others to reach ambitious goals.
- Experience with monorepos (Nx is a plus) and scalable codebase organization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK), and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of security best practices in both frontend and backend applications.
