We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Halifax. Our team is focused on digital platforms, creating world-class analytics products. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure.
What will you do?

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Python to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the stack.

Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, ensuring scalable and efficient deployment of applications.

Apply analytical thinking to solve complex problems, optimize performance, and enhance the user experience.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Cross-train team members to mitigate key man risks and ensure adequate coverage across all areas of the development process.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
-
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.

Minimum 2+ years experience in React.js, Next.js, Node.js.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
-
Experience working with technical teams and different stakeholders (Developers/Quality Engineers/Business Analysts).

Strong data and analytics background.
Nice-to-have
-
Experience in the banking or financial services industry or knowledge of capital markets and electronic trading flows.

Familiarity with test case design at different levels (component/service, integration, end-to-end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Experience in Python or Java.
