ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is shaping the future of commerce with an integration-first ecosystem that helps merchants connect their systems effortlessly. They are building a visual workflow platform that orchestrates integrations across internal services, event buses, and third-party systems.
We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to work on this workflow builder, focusing on backend architecture, core application logic, and API design. You will collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver a smooth, data-driven interface and contribute to building scalable, event-driven services.
This role is perfect for engineers who enjoy working across the stack, solving complex integration challenges, and contributing to a low-code, visual platform used by teams globally.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Extend the Workflow Builder backend with new features, while also contributing to security hardening, optimisation, code quality and architecture.
- Pair with frontend engineers on WebSocket/SSE endpoints for live workflow execution logs and real-time state updates in VueFlow.
- Extend event bus integration (NATS / Kafka / Red Panda) to support cross-service orchestration between Nexus and DataBus.
- Embed OpenTelemetry tracing, Prometheus metrics, and SLO dashboards for full observability.
- Introduce feature flags and remote configuration pipelines for safe rollouts and incremental feature releases.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions for linting, testing, Docker builds, and Helm chart deployments.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- 5+ years of fullstack development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Strong skills in VueJS or ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern frontend practices.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js and GraphQL/REST APIs.
- Comfortable with containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, and modern DevOps tooling.
- Strong security mindset: JWT/OAuth flows, RBAC, OWASP best practices, secret management.
- Good verbal English communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or complex client applications.
- Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and basic query optimization.
