Senior Fullstack Developer, Budapest

The Role 

LAB49 is currently seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer, with a primary focus on front-end development (React) but possessing substantial expertise in back-end technologies as well (such as C#/.NET or Python). As a Full-Stack Developer at LAB49, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change for our esteemed Financial Services clients. Operating within an Agile environment, you will tackle complex and challenging projects, leveraging your robust experience in front-end frameworks to design and construct the next generation of technology solutions. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into elegant and efficient front-end solutions. 
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms. 
• Utilize your expertise in front-end frameworks such as React to architect scalable and maintainable applications. 
• Leverage your solid understanding of back-end technologies, including databases, APIs, and server-side languages, to integrate front-end components seamlessly. 

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of commercial-grade web/front-end development experience.
• Strong experience in modern JavaScript, ideally TypeScript, building web applications with React. 
• 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in either functional coding in Python or C#/.NET development.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products is a strong plus.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience. 

Nice to Have

• Experience working with microservices architecture 
• Familiarity with Material UI, Terraform, Entity Framework
• Cloud experience, preferably within the AWS ecosystem
• Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity and Jenkins preferred)
