We are a rapidly growing Digital Marketing Agency currently seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. As the Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in both front-end and back-end website development, as well as modifications for our diverse client base. You will serve as the lead developer, guiding junior developers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our clients. Attention to detail is vital. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your extensive experience in WordPress development to deliver high-quality websites and landing pages.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior developers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to ensure outstanding results for our clients.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, clients, and senior staff on project developments and issues through verbal and written channels.
  • Display self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features for WordPress.
  • Support the web team by offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP.
  • Develop pages using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
  • Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO.
  • Manage website updates, backups, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and content teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the website.
  • Lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Set expectations and recognize when compromise is required.
  • Adhere strictly to deadlines and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Use core workflow systems such as Monday, Zoho, Slack, GSuite, etc.


Requirements
  • +7 years of hands-on experience in full stack web development, including extensive experience with WordPress (NOT WordPress.com).
  • Proficiency in PHP 7/8 and strong skills in both back-end and front-end development.
  • Extensive experience in WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
  • Advanced skills in JavaScript, CSS, SASS, LESS, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with mobile responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and cross-device testing.
  • Experience in SEO and website analytical tracking using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience in server administration, cPanel, and Linux.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for advanced WordPress, WooCommerce, and hosting issues.
  • General knowledge of website deployment workflows (e.g., production to staging, staging to production).
  • Comfortable operating WHM/cPanel.
  • Keen eye for design, including the ability to select and incorporate suitable images.
  • Capable of troubleshooting advanced WordPress, WooCommerce, and hosting issues.
  • Experience in setting up local environments for development and testing purposes.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and lead development teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and set expectations.
  • Time management skills and strict adherence to deadlines.

Preferred Additional Skills:

WPBakery, Divi, Total, or Elementor Theme experience; backup and deployment of sites; site transfer experience; WooCommerce setup and integrations; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics; SEO knowledge, including keyword understanding and sitemap creation; troubleshooting hosting issues such as site speed, SSL problems, mail delivery, PHP updates, and server settings.
