Halo Media is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help our teams deliver with high quality and on time. To be successful in this role, you should be confident in delivering quality web solutions using React, Node and Express

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using React for intuitive user interfaces, TypeScript for type-safe and maintainable code, Node.js for server-side logic, and MongoDB for efficient database operations.
• Leverage MMC Golden Path Technologies (e.g., standardized cloud infrastructure, APIs, and deployment pipelines—exact technologies to be confirmed with internal teams) to ensure alignment with company standards and best practices.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability, robustness, and maintainability, adhering to senior-level quality standards.
• Break down complex tasks into manageable, well-structured segments, enabling efficient project execution and delivery within Agile sprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA) to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-impact features.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, applying strong problem-solving skills to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, contributing to the team’s technical strategy and innovation roadmap.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

1. React: Proficiency in building user interfaces and handling state management.
2. TypeScript: Strong knowledge and experience in using TypeScript for better code quality and maintainability.
3. Node.js: Expertise in server-side development with Node.js.
4. MongoDB: Familiarity with database operations using MongoDB.
5. MMC Golden Path Technologies: Understanding of the technologies that align with the MMC (Marsh McLennan) standard practices and infrastructure. (Please collaborate with internal teams to identify the exact technologies for inclusion.)

• Experience Level: 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in fullstack roles, demonstrating senior -level expertise.
• Technical Mastery:
• Advanced proficiency in React, with deep knowledge of building complex UIs, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and component lifecycle.
• Expert-level skills in TypeScript, ensuring type-safe, maintainable, and scalable codebases.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, with experience building performant, scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience with MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and optimization for high-performance applications.
• Testing Expertise: Advanced skills in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress, ensuring code quality at a senior level.
• Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
• Task Management: Strong aptitude for breaking down large, complex tasks into actionable, manageable segments, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with distributed teams, stakeholders, and technical leadership.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues with a senior-level approach.
