Job Summary & Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer is a hands-on builder responsible for creating, integrating, and continuously improving FPG's digital experiences across AltogetherFuneral.com, FoundationPartners.com, Monarch Trade Services, Tulip, local-brand sites, and emerging properties.

Working closely with Product, Marketing, Design, IT, Analytics, Operations, and external partners, this role turns business priorities into reliable production software. The developer will work across Framer front ends, reusable components, FPG middleware, APIs, data flows, analytics, and automation—using AI-assisted development to increase delivery speed while maintaining strong engineering, security, accessibility, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Stack Product Development

  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible, conversion-focused experiences in Framer and its supporting web ecosystem.
  • Create reusable Framer components, code components, templates, and shared patterns that support rapid deployment across 200+ local and enterprise brands.
  • Develop and extend middleware services, APIs, webhooks, and data transformations that connect web experiences to FPG platforms and third-party services.
  • Own features from technical discovery through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Write clean, documented, maintainable code with appropriate source control, review, and release practices.

2. Platform Integration & Architecture

  • Connect Framer experiences to FPG middleware and systems including Advisor, CIQ, Leader Central, Microsoft/Azure services, analytics platforms, consent tooling, communications, payments, and other approved vendors.
  • Design secure, resilient integration patterns for forms, location data, pricing, guided-selling flows, lead routing, notifications, and authenticated experiences.
  • Partner with Product and IT on architecture decisions, API contracts, identity, privacy, observability, performance, and platform governance.
  • Support the migration and consolidation of legacy web functionality into the modern Framer and middleware stack.

3. AI-Accelerated Engineering & Automation

  • Use approved AI coding and development tools to accelerate prototyping, implementation, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code review.
  • Build practical AI-enabled capabilities where they improve customer or team-member outcomes, including content operations, personalization, search, quality checks, and decision support.
  • Develop automation for recurring site QA, accessibility, SEO, broken links, performance, analytics validation, and competitive/CRO insights.
  • Help evolve FPG's Digital Intelligence Engine: automated crawling, prioritized recommendations, and actionable tickets for human review.
  • Apply appropriate human review, privacy, security, and accuracy controls to AI-generated work.

4. CRO, Analytics & Experience Quality

  • Implement A/B tests, landing-page variants, and rapid CRO experiments in partnership with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Design.
  • Instrument and validate GA4/GTM events, conversion funnels, click IDs, call tracking, consent behavior, and downstream data flow.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, technical SEO, structured data, uptime, accessibility, and cross-device quality.
  • Use data, user behavior, crawler findings, and operational feedback to identify and ship continuous improvements.

5. Delivery, Reliability & Collaboration

  • Contribute to a Scrumban delivery model with a predictable release cadence, clear work in Linear, and frequent production improvements.
  • Create test plans and automated checks; perform peer review, regression testing, release validation, and production monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot issues across browser, front end, middleware, integrations, DNS/CDN, and vendor boundaries; communicate impact and resolution clearly.
  • Collaborate closely with the UI/UX owner and platform-area owners while providing technical guidance to agencies and contractors as needed.

Success Measures

  • Frequent, dependable releases with low regression and rework rates.
  • Faster delivery through reusable components, automation, and responsible AI-assisted development.
  • Measurable improvement in conversion, digital case volume, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, SEO health, and funnel accuracy.
  • Reliable middleware integrations, observable data flows, and faster incident resolution.
  • A scalable, well-documented web platform that enables local-brand flexibility without duplicative builds.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of professional full-stack or product-focused web development experience, including production ownership.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, API, JSON, and modern web development fundamentals.
  • Experience building integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, serverless or cloud services, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Experience with Framer, a comparable component-based web platform, or the ability to become productive in Framer quickly.
  • Working knowledge of source control, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security, privacy, accessibility, SEO, and web performance.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively and responsibly in a professional engineering workflow.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into pragmatic technical solutions and communicate tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical partners.
  • Comfort working across a multi-brand, multi-location environment with simultaneous priorities and frequent iteration.

Preferred Experience

  • Framer code components, React component systems, headless CMS patterns, and large-scale templating.
  • Azure, Microsoft Entra, Power Platform, Cloudflare, middleware/API development, or enterprise identity and integration patterns.
  • GA4, Google Tag Manager, consent management, call tracking, experimentation, analytics QA, and conversion optimization.
  • E-commerce, payments, guided selling, lead routing, or other high-intent consumer transaction flows.
  • AI agents, retrieval-augmented experiences, automated site crawlers, or AI-supported content and QA workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare, funeral care, retail, services, or another regulated multi-location consumer business.

  • Competitive Pay and Benefits:
o Medical, dental, prescription, and vision insurance
