Responsibilities
- Development of new features and improvements
- Adopting and contributing to CI/CD pipeline and ways of working
- Delivering product value iteratively
- Ensuring best practices around observability and security
- Working closely with other developers to ensure knowledge sharing
- Designing and developing new platform functionality, from inception to deployment
- Building on top of and integrating the existing estate
- Helping to refine and deliver work items across our Agile delivery process
- Contributing to efficiencies and improvements in Ways of Working
- Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Sharing new ideas, techniques and methodologies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience writing full-stack TypeScript/.Net/React
- Experience writing automated tests
- CI/CD principles and pipelines
- Cloud engineering experience (AWS, GCP)
- Microservices /Serverless
- Infrastructure as code
- Event-driven architectures, RESTful interfaces and SQL databases
- Experience using TDD principles would be an advantage
- Experience in Data modelling/Database engineering would be a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform would be a plus
- Upper-intermediate English
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
