Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Spring Boot, Angular, Docker & Kubernetes)

Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications. The role involves building robust back-end services using Java and Spring Boot, integrating seamlessly with interactive front-end interfaces built with Angular. Additionally, the candidate will play a vital role in implementing containerized applications and managing deployments with Kubernetes. Required Skills:

• Proven expertise in Java with solid experience in application development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building RESTful web services
• Proficiency in Angular (version 8 or above) for developing dynamic front-end applications
• Experience with containerization technologies: Docker
• Knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus

• Design and develop end-to-end full stack web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness
• Build scalable, maintainable back-end services and integrate them with user interfaces
• Implement containerized applications and manage deployment workflows using Kubernetes
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and application performance
• Support production deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across teams

Programming Languages:

• Essential: Java, Spring Boot
• Preferred: JavaScript/TypeScript, familiarity with Angular ecosystem

Databases / Data Management:

• Basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle for integration tasks

Cloud Technologies:

• Not mandatory but a plus: experience with cloud deployment environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Frameworks and Libraries:

• Spring Boot, Angular CLI, RxJS (for Angular reactive programming)

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development practices

Security Protocols:

• Basic knowledge of secure coding practices, OAuth, JWT, or similar authentication standards

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in Java development, with substantial full-stack project exposure
• Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable, production-level web applications
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrable experience working in agile teams and participating in end-to-end development cycles
• Experience leading development initiatives or mentoring team members is advantageous

• Develop and enhance web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Design and implement containerized solutions with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Maintain and improve existing codebases for performance and scalability
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding standards
• Troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments
• Document system architecture, deployment procedures, and technical specifications
• Stay updated with latest industry trends and emerging technologies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• Professional certifications in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, or Kubernetes are a plus
