As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be part of the team building the core platform, infrastructure, and AI-driven tools that power the HouseFacts ecosystem. This role spans across the full tech stack—developing robust backend systems, architecting scalable AI-driven workflows, and crafting seamless user interfaces. You will also play a key role in making strategic technology decisions to avoid technical debt and maximize development efficiency
The Role
HouseFacts is developing a technology to help homeowners manage the complexities of property management for residential real estate. You may spend one day working with engineers to refine an algorithm and the next day optimizing the UI/UX of a consumer analytics dashboard. This role demands curiosity, technical excellence, flexibility, and a passion for solving real-world property management challenges.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Application Development: Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on usability, performance, and AI-driven automation.
- Frontend Engineering: Build interactive, data-intensive user interfaces using Vue.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Backend & Data Engineering: Develop scalable APIs and backend systems, leveraging cloud-based architectures and databases (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
- AI & Workflow Automation: Integrate AI models and analytics pipelines into the product, enabling automated insights and decision support.
- System Optimization & Scalability: Continuously improve system performance, data processing efficiency, and maintainability.
- Technology Strategy & Decision-Making: Evaluate and select the best tools, frameworks, and architectures, prioritizing long-term sustainability and minimizing technical debt.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to define and execute product roadmaps.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Participate in user research, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to drive adoption and value.

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, preferably in AI-driven applications or enterprise software.
- Proficiency in Vue/React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience building and scaling backend services and APIs.
- Familiarity with databases, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
- Base Comp: $110,000-$150,000 Annualized
