Job Summary

The Senior Full-stack Engineer will be responsible for improving existing and creating new web applications. This role involves full-stack development using PHP, Symfony, and Vue.js, and collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software. The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactive, and passionate about ensuring project success through clean and efficient code.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using PHP (Symfony), PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Follow the PSR-2 coding style guide to ensure consistent and maintainable code.

• Collaborate with development teams to classify tasks, address change requests, and evaluate possible enhancements.

• Assist front-end developers in client-side troubleshooting and apply expertise in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JS, and frameworks like Vue.js.

• Work with project managers, designers, and engineers to analyze complex change requests and recommend optimal solutions.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs efficiently.

• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.

• Maintain applications and environments using Docker, Nginx, and version control tools like Git/Gitflow.

• Strong hands-on experience with VueJS, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of back-end development with some experience with front-end development.

• PHP 7.x/8.x (Symfony).

• ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) knowledge.

• Relational database experience (such as PostgreSQL and MySQL).

• Experience building, testing, and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Typing and Linting experience.

• Some/recent Vue/Typescript experience.
