The Role
We’re looking for a Senior or Staff Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of complex projects and deliver high-impact solutions across our marketing, onboarding, and servicing platforms. You’ll work across the stack using React, Node.js, and AWS, collaborating closely with product, design, marketing, and engineering peers.
In this role, you’ll help lead the technical design and implementation of new capabilities, mentor engineers, and bring sound judgment and innovation to everything you build. This is a high-visibility role where your code will shape the experience of hundreds of thousands of users.
What You’ll Do
• Lead the design and implementation of new features and systems that span frontend and backend technologies.
• Build and maintain performant, accessible, and responsive UIs using React and component-based architecture.
• Develop reliable APIs and backend logic in Node.js, leveraging cloud-native services in AWS (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Collaborate across teams to integrate third-party tools, enable marketing experiments, and improve analytics instrumentation.
• Proactively improve system performance, observability, and code quality.
• Provide architectural input and help define technical best practices.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing, and feedback.
• Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving, outcome-driven environment.
What We’re Looking For
You're likely a great fit if you have:
• Demonstrated success shipping production software that has made a measurable business or customer impact.
• The ability to design and build full-stack applications from scratch, balancing tradeoffs and long-term maintainability.
• Strong understanding of how web applications work across the stack (browser, frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure).
• A thoughtful approach to writing clean, testable code and documenting your decisions for others.
• A track record of working effectively across disciplines (e.g., with product managers, marketers, designers).
• Curiosity, initiative, and the judgment to know when to ask, challenge, or simplify.
Bonus Points For:
• Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or server-side rendering
• Familiarity with experimentation platforms (e.g., VWO, Google Optimize, Optimizely)
• Experience integrating with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, GA, Tag Manager)
• Use of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Sentry, Datadog, CloudWatch)
• Comfort with building or contributing to internal design systems or reusable component libraries
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest)
